Man charged in the death of a mechanic who had been on the sidelines due to an accident has pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder.
The 28-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of killing Sergio Ase, 37, after a collision with a motorbike.
He had been riding with his son and daughter in the village of Santo Domingo in the municipality of Cibao de Lares, which lies to the west of the city of Boca Juniors.
Ase was in a helmet when he died in a nearby field of wheat on July 15, 2012.
It was the second time in three months that a motorcyclist had died while riding with a child in the area.
In July 2012, a 31-year old man died when he collided with a motorcycle while riding his son in the same area.
