Meteorologist, Dr. William M. Schoenbaum, MD, professor of Meteorology and Climate Science, and co-author of the journal Weathering & Climate Engineering, discusses how to control weathering and mechanical weathering of your instrument, and the importance of using a well-controlled instrument.
Dr. Schönbaum has been practicing and teaching meteorology since 1986.
Dr. Schönbaum has served as the chair of the department of Atmospheric Science and Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder since 1995.
He has been a weather-related research professor at the U.S. Army War College since 1992.
In 1998, he was awarded the Medal of Honor by President Bill Clinton for extraordinary heroism in combat.
He is a member of the American Meteorological Society, and a Fellow of the Society for Atmospheric and Oceanic Engineering.
Schonbaum and Ramesh Vaidya are also co-authors of the Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences.
